The following instructions contain general guidelines for the assembly, use, and maintenance of the purchased goods. Before assembly and use, please read this document carefully, as well as any instructions and technical data sheets included with the individual products.

General safety rules

Read the instructions carefully: Before assembling and using any product, read these rules and the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the product.
Assembly by adults: Assembly must only be carried out in the presence and under the supervision of an adult. If the product requires it, seek the assistance of another person or a professional.
Appropriate tools: Use only tools recommended for assembly, avoid damaged or unsuitable tools.
Stable surface and working conditions: Assemble and disassemble products on a stable, level surface in a well-lit and dry room.
No interference with the design: Do not make any modifications or repairs yourself. Any modifications may void the warranty and reduce safety.
Children and persons requiring care: The products are not toys. Children and persons with limited abilities should use them under adult supervision, especially in the case of moving mechanisms.

Bed frames – instructions and recommendations

Assembly and use:

Follow the manufacturer's assembly instructions. Make sure that all components (slats, frames, screws) are stable and correctly fastened.
Mount the frame on a stable bed frame that matches the dimensions of the mattress and frame.
Avoid sudden point loads (jumping, sitting on the edge).
Check stability regularly and tighten the screws every 3-6 months.

Mechanisms for semi-recessed beds – instructions and recommendations

Assembly and adjustment:

Have the mechanism for a fold-away bed (semi-folding bed) installed by an experienced person or carpenter.
Check that the wall to which the semi-folding bed is attached is sufficiently sturdy.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully – do not skip any steps and do not use replacement parts without consulting the manufacturer/seller.

Use:

Fold and unfold the bed slowly, using the mechanism as intended.
Make sure that the bed is completely folded or unfolded before leaving it.
Children should only use the mechanism under adult supervision.

Furniture accessories – instructions and recommendations

Furniture accessories include hinges, drawer slides, handles, furniture legs, brackets, and other elements mounted in furniture.

Installation:

Follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding the dimensions and spacing of mounting elements.
Use the correct screws, dowels, and bolts, paying attention to their diameter and length.
In the case of hinges and drawer runners, ensure precise leveling and select the right components for the weight and size of the furniture.

Safety:

Make sure that no sharp edges are exposed to the user.
Regularly check the stability of accessories: make sure that handles are securely fastened, hinges are not loose, and guides are working smoothly.
Children should not tamper with furniture accessories without adult supervision.

Mattresses – instructions and recommendations

Use:

Place the mattress on a suitably selected frame with dimensions recommended by the mattress manufacturer.
Regularly ventilate the room where the bed is located to prevent the growth of mold and dust mites.
If recommended, turn the mattress every few months to ensure even wear of the core.

Hygiene and safety:

Use protective covers that are easy to wash.
In case of allergic reactions or discomfort, consult a specialist.
Do not jump on the mattress or use it in a manner contrary to its intended use (e.g., for gymnastics).

Maintenance, care and inspection of products

Periodically (at least once every six months), check the stability, tighten the screws and clean the components in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Use soft cloths and mild cleaning agents recommended for the material. Avoid aggressive chemicals.
For moving parts (hinges, guides), use dedicated oils and preservative lubricants.

Procedure in case of defects and complaints
In case of manufacturing defects, damage caused during transport or problems with the functioning of the product, please contact the store staff immediately at www.kavon.pl.
Do not attempt to repair defective parts yourself if you do not have the appropriate skills.
